Also proof that half ton trucks are too damn big.

I was guiding my dad towards something like an F-150 XL STX or a Titan SV, but guess what? Those don’t fit in garages! My dad’s truck barely fits as is.

I watched someone air down their tires to fit a truck in their garage yesterday. Imagine dealing with that regularly

I would laugh so hard if the tailgate got stolen.

My buddy has a cj7 with that problem but it only goes in for the winter so at least he’s not doing it frequently.

If the top of the bed is that close to the top of the opening, how did the roof of the cab fit through?

Unfortunately, that same pickup wouldn't fit in my garage either :(

Do we think he cut right to left and got better as he went along, or left to right and got sloppier?

My garage just barely fits our truck. It’ s a 2018 F150 crew cab short bed. I have about 6 inches in the front and back. I actually created a fixed curb within the garage so I can drive right up and be at the perfect distance from the wall.

My e90 only has a foot it so extra in my garage soooo

I think he did the right first with a circular saw, then went to do bottom with a sawzall and decided not to grab a different saw for the left side, but ended up with a wiggly line because sawzalls don’t like going straight.

Garages in most sub division homes are too shallow as well.

What HOA community has a mandatory garaging rule with only one-car garages?
![]() 05/06/2020 at 23:15 |

The HOA can g o fuck itself.

My Honda Fit fits.

I prefer to view it as proof that garages are too small

I have no doubt.

Get a G550^2 , t hose inflate and deflate the tires at the push of a button. Very practical.

I was just joking. Idk what the real story is

Or a Humvee, which are supposed to, though my impression is that that feature is universally broken.
![]() 05/07/2020 at 00:31 |

I've never driven a Humvee with that feature. Just shy of 16 years military.

Correct.

Probably somewhere liberal.

I could fit a Fit in my shed. And probably 6 of them in my 3 car garage.

I like my F150 enough that I tolerate it not fitting in my garage.
![]() 05/07/2020 at 00:34 |

My garage is deep enough, but not tall enough :(
I have a 2015 crew short bed 150.

The homeowners can get fucked too. For choosing to live in a HOA.

Hmm, Wikipedia says it was an option on the military ones )mention both on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_tire_inflation_system and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humvee , though the later says it was available on later models or as an upgrade)
Seems to have been common enough on civilian H1s as well.

*shrug* not saying it isn't a thing, just saying I haven't seen it in 16 years, 4 countries, probably 10 bases, and having driven many different configurations :)

It looks like it has a really short driveway so it probably blocks the sidewalk.

lol...i don’t know if you’re joking or not, but the most up tight PITA HOAs I know of in our area are in a very conservative wealthy town

Ours is decently tall in general. Only clears the door when its open by about 18 inches though.

Come to think of it, I can also fit my Fit in the tent I use for camping

The only ones in my budget that I like have 100,000+ miles.
